LEFT HANDED WASHBURN D-14 ACOUSTIC W/ELECTRIC P/U WELL, I NEVER THOUGHT TO DO IT. BUT I AM PUTTING TO AUCTION MY FIRST REAL GUITAR. I BOUGHT THIS GUITAR NEW ON 4-20-1990 (ORIGINAL RECEIPT WILL BE INCLUDED). IT WAS ON THE WALL AT STACY S MUSIC SHOP IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. IT HAS NO SERIEL # STAMPED ON IT- BUT I BELIEVE IT TO BE A 1989 MODEL. (WASHBURN HAS INFORMED ME THAT D-14 S WERE MANUFACTURED BETWEEN 1979 AND 1992). IT HAS A SPRUCE TOP, MAHOGANY NECK, ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD, ROSEWOOD BACK AND SIDES. IT CARRIES A BEAUTIFULL NATURAL FINISH. IN ADDITION IT HAS PERLOID FRET MARKERS (A W AT THE 12TH. FRET), TORTOISE PICKGUARD, MULTISTRIPE BINDING ON THE FRONT AS WELL AS A STRIPE DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE BACK, GOLD WASHBURN TUNERS AND ROSEWOOD BRIDGEPLATE. THE AMAZING THING ABOUT THIS GUITAR IS HOW LITTLE ITS BEEN USED. I USED IT WITH A CHURCH WORSHIP TEAM FROM 1990 UNTIL JUNE OF 1992. I THEN MOVED AND IT WAS STORED IN MY BEDROOM CLOSET UNTIL AUGUST OF 2006. THAT S MORE THAN 14 YEARS!!! I USED IT IN PRACTICE SESSIONS UNTIL I BOUGHT A MARTIN D-28 IN APRIL OF 2007. IT THEN WENT BACK INTO THE CLOSET AND HAS STAYED THERE EXCEPT FOR ONE WEEKEND IN 2008 WHEN I TOOK IT TO PLAY DURING A WEEKEND MEETING. I HAVE SINCE BOUGHT A SECOND MARTIN- SO I KNOW THIS ONE WILL NEVER SEE MUCH IF ANY PLAYING TIME AGAIN. IN AUGUST OF 2006 WHEN I FIRST TOOK IT OUT, THIS THING WAS ONLY ABOUT A HALF-STEP OUT OF TUNE. I CHKED THE BOW IN THE NECK AND MADE A SLIG ...
